Need help! 94 S10 2wd 5spd

Sorry guys I know this is a Diesel site, but I need help!

Borg Warner

13-52-066-933 on the side of the case.

I'm trying to fix my lil cousins S10 for him. Needs a new trans swapped in. Well the one I got him from a wrecking yard has a cracked tail housing but is good. How on earth do you get the tail housing off this thing?

It looked like all you had to do was drive this pin down into the shaft and the shifter block would come off allowing the tail housing to be removed?

Need to get this done ASAP for him as I've been telling him I'd get it back up and going for him (sole transportation) for 2 weeks.

Any help/leads/etc welcome!!

if it was a 4.3 V-6 any SBC tranny will swap in..

looks like a T-5 tranny or similar

camaros, firebirds, mustangs had them... might have to change thebell housing and do some measure ments

or swap in a TH350/7004r

Re-read it Adam. I have a good trans to put back in (in background of 2nd pic!) just need to figure out how to swap the tail housings between the two transmissions.
