1st gen 12v.

Looking into buying a 1st gen 12v. to swap into my 82 chev.
I really dont know anything about the VE pump, what can i do to get power out of this motor? Injectors obviously, exhaust, intake but what else can i do? How much power can i get out of it without spending too much?

might be a little pricey eh?? :doh:
i have a line on one locally, 93 engine, new turbo, rebuilt ve pump, head was off just to check and see the condition of everything, then the head was rebuilt. I'm unsure of the km's on it at this point, it also comes with a 91 auto tranny and t-case for 2500 canadian.
