My 2015 in the shop

Just got a SEL yesterday. Had on star check it out and they said it was #1 out of range. Just brought it in and the dealer is going to replace it.

Really? Is this common?

Also, it's used about 10g of def in 3k miles since new. I thought the def was good for the length of an oil change. I haven't even towed w it yet.

Any ideas?

Number 1 glow plug out of range. Is my guess. I wouldn't say it's common, but I've seen a few.

I thought they said it was inj 1 out of range. How would a GP be out of range? Don't they just come on, heat up then shut off?
