2013 3500 manual trans terrible throttle lag no bottom end.

Trucks a dually with 3.73's. The truck is a dog under 2000 rpm. If you put it in a higher gear and stand on it won't start to any power at all until 1900_2k rpm. When you combine that with the throttle lag shifting while towing it's a turd. Bought truck with 37k i deleted
It with an mm3 tuner. I had a '12 before this one with just an h&s and that started to pull hard at 1200 rpm. This is a completely different animal. Any input about a different tuner or similar experience would be great. Thanks

I’d say it’s in the tuning. My stock 14 was a turd and acted the same as your speaking before I tuned it. After efi, now the clutch is the problem before 2k

Who wrote tunes? Excessive smoke? How does it act with a stock tune?

The mm3 came from phillips..Texas diesel performance. Do tunes have to be written with an mm3? I'm running it out of the box from him. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. In stock form low end is about the same. If you run it on 175 or 200hp tune it's like you turn a switch on at 2000 rpm .It runs like a 2 stroke. The spike in power seems to follow rpm more than anything else.

My 13 G56 was a turd when it was stock but was a totally different animal when it was tuned with EFI live. We also have tuned a couple other G56 trucks with EFI and with EZ Lynk, all with HPP tuning and they have been night and day better. I would suggest tuning from HPP they are awesome with these trucks!

I don't understand why the 14 is so much different than the 12 I had. How expensive is the efi live. Can I use the mm3 for unlock and gaues with efi live?
