Just a Q, don't hate on me to much.
Joel, any aftermarket piece provides gains over the stock unit.... the stock unit is a switching station for EGR / Cold air mixture that just has lots of flow interruption that is unwanted by most power hungry.

The Passenger kit ( in My Opinion, there is no data anywhere to compare all the products) is a leading design, with the following benefits from the others you mentioned:

  • O-Ring Base, No Gasket - If you play with the truck your gonna be on and off alot with the Intake so this is money in the bank
  • Large 4" Design with Matching Tube
  • Great Craftsmanship, when comparing to other hand built units we have seen in our shop the interior of the intake is head and shoulders above them. It is built like it should be with smooth flow from end to end
  • Aluminum Construction with Thermo Barrier Coating, if the intake temp claims are true this is huge
  • Corrected HP Fuel Line
At first look this kit seemed too pricey even to us, but once the math is done with what Passenger offers in the kit it's just a great value.

At the time you picked up the SBE intake from us we had not seen this unit, so we believed that the CAST design of the SBE was the best product for your truck and performance at that time. We just see some big advantages as listed above, if you want to help us collect data on this product your welcome to call or stop over to check it out. We have some time booked at the dyno in a week or two with other 6.7 Liter mods, we will be bolting one of these on to compare the gains over stock.... with and without a tune.

It's a shame that Grid Heater deletes just don't cut it in our climate.

Does this company have a web site or do they only sell through dealers?
