Ecodiesel delete kit
Does anyone know a good place to get a delete kit for a 2014 1500 ecodiesel? I was looking at this one PPEI Custom Tuning by Kory Willis s Super Store . Has anyone used this and is it good? Looking to get rid of dead pedal and limp mode. More power and mileage is a plus

Do these trucks have SCR and EGR? Didn't mention the kit deleting those. If it did, $1500 doesn't sound too bad.

60hp jump is quite a bit for the ecodiesel. They aren't powerhouses to begin with.

They have egr. Not sure what scr is. The main goal is to get rid of the emissions because they are causing problems

Selective Catalytic Reduction

That's what DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) is used for. So delete's typically take out the tank, lines, and DOC in the exhaust.

Yeah. It has all that. Way I understand is that kit comes with exhaust and you send your ecm in for them to tune. Then you can unplug everything else and get no codes

I'm pretty sure Phil (WideOpen) and I talked about his wife's EcoDiesel @ TS and her's is deleted might inquire where he got the parts.

I deleted mine. See this thread post for the knowledge...

You may also want to start reading that thread around that post and using it for reference for several things I have had with my '14.

Thanks for the info. Do you need the back part of the exhaust or just the flo pro? And do you see any reason to delete the egr cooler if it's giving no problems?

My EGR cooler was leaking, which is why I did everything that I did. You probably can just do the exhaust although I would not suggest it as the EGR cooler delete would be a ton easier to do with the exhaust off that it was with it on. When the EGR cooler fails it will leak coolant into the engine, causing your oil to become caustic and not visible to the naked eye. The only reason I knew I had an issue starting was because of oil analysis, then the coolant started disappearing at a rapid rate, but no evidence of it going anywhere.
I think you can just do the front part of the exhaust, not sure though without looking at the kits again.
Read the thread linked above, from about post 220ish on, to see all that went on with mine and why/how I did what I did.
