2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Long Rod 6.4L

Hate to sell but family comes first and I don’t have the time I anticipated to take it to the next step and race it.

Truck is a rust free (Stored Winters) 2006 Dodge ram 2500 QCSB with about 229K on the body, 9K on the motor, and roughly 3k on the drivetrain. Trans just had the 2nd fluid and filter change and oil was just changed and filter cleaned(Hubb filter and brad penn 20w50). Oil has always been changed every 1000 to 1500 miles and the trans serviced about the same with a complete tear down and inspection a couple times a year since built. Truck has full leather interior. Truck comes with the Hubb ultrasonic cleaner, 20x10 BMF/SOTA wheels on 305/55r20 Nittos. Carbon fiber hood with custom made hood stack, factory hood and color matched grill, and another spare hood. Also have the factory hitch and rust free bumper and tailgate. Comes with the laptop mount and efilive V2 possibly the laptop too if needed.

Engine is a Std bore, 6.7 block, 06 5.9 head that I drilled for the steam holes, VP 5.9 crank, Wagler .080 longer rods, Mahle 6.7 Qsb pistons w/.030 flycuts, Hamilton 188/220 cam, 110# valve springs, extreme pushrods, Arp 625 headstuds, Arp 14mm main studs, and I had engineered diesel machine the block and make a custom girdle to tie the mains into the block. Everything ran Standard so I run Mahle H series main and 12v rod bearings, .020 over 6.7 ISB rings that I filed to fit with .020 top ring gap, .030 second ring gap, and .018 oil control which I ran the standard oil control rings out of the box. Piston to wall is .0075, For fuel I'm using the same 150% BMS Exergy injectors out of my 06 5.9 which I dropped off to Exergy be checked and cleaned prior to assembly. PPE dual fuelers, 15 gallon fuel cell, and an Airdog 165 feeding the cp3s through a 2010+ Fleece distribution block with a custom made dual fed 6.7 rail. Air is being forced in by a single s475/87-1:0 A/R charger with a Billet wheel installed by Chris himself at Engineered Turbo. Charger is mounted on a BD T4 manifold flipped utilizing a Stainless diesel second gen swap kit. I also have the turbosmart WG that will go along with it. Truck has the turbosmart BOV with controller and I Upgraded to flex lite electric fans and deleted the fan and pulley along with installed a NX bottle and line but haven’t got around to getting solenoids and hooking it up.

Tuning is being handled by Lavon at firepunk diesel.

Transmission is powder coated red, has a DPC Quad disc stock stahl converter, aermet billet input, TCS billet intermediate and output shafts, billet Xlarge drum, servos, reaction shell, bolted in rear sprag with ARP bolts, and all AN fittings/lines. Also have a spare 47re valve body and a tci outlaw shift as I was going to to fmvb.

I have poured a lot of time, money, and most of my soul into this truck. I do have a spare 6.7 block, 5.9 head, crank, and other parts that will go with the truck.

If you search “6.4L build complete and awesome” shows a lot more information and pics but will post some more here.

I’m probably forgetting a lot of details and information and will answer any questions the best I can. I estimate the power at a reliable 900-1000hp.

I’m asking $35,000 located in Shelby MI 49455. I am willing to work out a deal to include the fiberglass bedsides, drag slicks, and paddle tires if they don’t sell first. Miles will go up as I still plan to daily drive and enjoy it till it finds a new home.

Man, I don't know a lick about common rails, but it looks like you have a lot of time and money in this truck.

The pic with the paddles is awesome. GLWS.

Thanks guys. I have had the truck since Feb of 2015 and it’s come a long ways from a bone stock truck.

I pulled the factory level sensor out of the factory tank and made a mount and drilled a hole in the fuel cell to incorporate a connector that I wired to the factory harness so the fuel level gauge works.
