Air Operated Turbo
The Switchblade Turbo continues to evolve and improve to meet the customers expectations. The main complaint we have heard from our customers is the initial cost of the complete system. Jim Blaylock, the owner of Switchblade, went back to the drawing board to see what he could do to make the system more affordable. What he came up with was a way to alleviate all of the electronics needed to control the operation of the vane within the turbine housing. We are now able to offer a system that is controlled with an air cylinder that is actuated with boost pressure. The electronic system has a price of $2995. The air operated system initial price will be $1789. This is a 40% reduction in price. For a limited time we will offer the ceramic coating on the turbine housing and air cylinder bracket at no extra cost. Below are some pictures of the system. All you need to provide is a T4 manifold. If you are interested please let me know.
Thanks
Garry

We typically use boost but drive pressure could be used.

They are based of a design similar to the Borg series. See the attached pic where you can see our casting insignia.

Gary, I read some of your other posts concerning your current turbo and I am convinced you would love the Switchblade. If you buy this unit and you are not satisfied, return it in good condition within 30 days and we will refund your money.
