im assuming torque converter will be useable for awhile

governer mods?

donor truck is a 95 and has a 47rh, but i was told the RE would be better for parts and reliability

ideas and info plz

getting tossed into a reg cab/long then chopped down to reg cab/short once i find a box and time

The re will have a steel front planet. You will want that. Put front planet and intermediate in rh. The main cases are the same except for the electronic port size.

Gut them both and pick the least worn parts. You can use the re valve body or the rh to make it a manual vb. Use the rh to stay auto shift.

RE is behind the Cummins

RH is behind the V10

not concerned about "high stall" of the V10

concerned about robustness

was told the RE is stronger due to shorter tail shaft as RH has 2 oil pumps?
