Here is what is going on, I have a 2007 Tahoe speakers are fine as long as you are listening to the radio, CD, or a movie. Once you plug in an iPod there is a high chance of the left speakers not working. The right ones continue to work and sound fine. The speakers won't come back on until after the truck has been shut off and parked for a while. I am hooking the iPod up with an AUX jack and have replaced it thinking it was the problem, but it still continues. Anyone have an idea at what to look at next. iPod works fine with headphone or any other radio.
