NADM / STPA Press Release

NEWS RELEASES - FEBRUARY

National Association of Diesel Motorsports (NADM), has expanded its promotion of diesel motorsports by entering into agreement with the Southern Tractor Puller's Association (STPA), for joint events involving diesel tractors, truck pulls and drag racing.

By agreeing to help each other with events and promotions it only helps to develop new markets and geographic areas for both associations. Long-time tractor/truck puller and owner of STPA, Bent Adkins met with Dave Dunbar and Ron Knoch of NADM, in Indianapolis at the SEMA Spring Show to finalize the joint agreement.

"NADM's experience with truck pulls and drag racing combined with STPA's tractor/truck pulls can attract larger venues and offer more attractions for diesel enthusiasts," says STPA owner Brent Adkins.

NADM and STPA both offer a full circuit of pulling and drag racing for 2008. Since joining forces, both associations expect the number of events to continue to grow in the coming month. Please check the websites for both associations for schedule updates: www.stpahome.com and www.runNADM.com

"We are here to promote and market all aspects of diesel motorsports and that includes diesel tractor pulling, it's a great sport to watch and compete. The way diesel is gaining popularity we expect to add diesel cars to our growing list of classes for the next year!" commented Dave Dunbar, Executive Director of Competition, NADM.

For information about combined events contact Southern Tractor Puller's Association at 704-902-1751 or National Association of Diesel Motorsports at 866-run-NADM.

There will be more on this later. We are looking at doing a few pulls and drags in NC area. Stay tuned...
