your set up plus dyno numbers 12 valve only.

Friendly dyno? I like to see all the big injector 160hp pump combos....seems like people are finally catching on to how a big injectors can help on those combos. With the twins, even the 5x18s are pretty drivable, I've towed with them and it barely hazes.

im getting excited to dyno my truck. really looking for 550 but not saying anything that i will for sure be there but its looking good so far.

my roomate bought this truck with it bone stock, my brother and i own holden bros diesel in comfort tx. we have dynoed the truck 3 times on the same dynojet. i meant homemade full cuts, and it has valve springs as well. i was very impressed with the truck. ive tuned hundreds of p pump and rotary pumped trucks, not to mention this truck gets 22mpg. mayeb the dyno operator is changing something

1st dyno- stock injectors, 62/74/14, pac brak springs, and homemade full cuts, 472-1081

2nd dyno- only thing changed was airdog II, 5x14 injectors and dual feed, 597-1248

3rd dyno- only thing added was mack rack plug, more fuel pressure and the water/meth 646-1364

we have dynoed this truck alot those 3 times and we are loading it between 65 and 70% if i new how to post pics or videos id do so.

It's not that I didn't believe you, it's just that those numbers seemed really high for a 160 pump and a 62mm turbo. I'm interested to hear more about these homemade full cut DV's and the tuning you did. And maybe the dyno operator was using a high correction factor? Just wondering how you got that good of numbers on that setup. Sounds like a nice running truck though.

i thought the same thing. what is the correction factor "normally". i looked at abunch of different dv's and then took the factory 131's to my buddys lathe and cut them down as far as i thought was safe and put them back in with the factory holders. i set it at 22* timing, mack rack plug. it has a 100 plate slid all the way forward, the afc was adjusted to get the least amount of fuel on the low end.

....the 'right' thing to do is list uncorrected. my post above is 1.01 CF, which is ok in my book.

the uncorrected numbers are 610.7 hp and 1288.40 torque with water meth
the uncorrected numbers are 599.1 hp and 1260.1 torque with fuel only

the other numbers are with a std. 1.07 correction factor

I've seen this truck running down the highway a few times, and on the dyno a bunch. It is the best running 12v I've seen. Tried messing with it on the highway with my 95. Bad idea. Very impressive build guys.

That is a lot of injector to make that low of HP, tune that thing

It was a really unforgiving dyno, Kevin at northeast did my pump I've heard nothing but bolt it on and leave it alone, maybe someone more knowledgable could make more power but I'm pretty happy with it really.

Wow, that is one quiet turbo! Is that just the video sound muffling it or is the turbo that quiet? I have heard those wheels are quiet and will find out when I get my 11-blade s400 on as a primary.

Here's Jason's video; and yes, it is fairly quiet. fwiw, I'm running a 5" dynomax bullet muffler and the air filter is tucked into the bumper
