adding sub to Uconnect 8.4 AN

thinking about putting an additional sub in the jeep to pick up the low end.

its a 2014 with the 8.4AN and 19 speaker HK system. it has a sub in the back, so if i understand correctly, i can tap into the speaker wire before the sub and use something like the LC2i to give me some RCA inputs for the amp.

Is this correct? i am a little dumb with these new systems. and if i don't have to pull the dash apart to get to the back of the radio module, all the better.

i found a schematic of the system, but what the heck is there 4 wires going to the sub for?

Two subs according to that. Well, two coils anyway.

oh yeah.... makes sense. havent seen a dual voice coil that wasnt bridged.

the one thats there is mediocre at best, but i would like to keep it as a midbass and add a 15" in the spare tire well. dont want to go stupid, but i am thinking a nice SQ sub with 2500w or so will round out the bottom nicely and have enough power to thump a little if so inclined.
