I'm not missing the point. I think cops are very good. I'm just saying if you lived hear in Albuquerque you would know what I mean. Not all the cops but some.

We can vote to ban but if they really want to they come back again again

My whole point is get rid of the people that come run their mouth and do not contribute. So what if they come back... Maybe a mod can do an IP ban or something.

I think the whole country has just gone to hell since the Colt 45 and horse ridin' days. Back then, if you pulled a gun on a cop or anyone for that matter...boom...dead. Now days, first we analyze the metal state of the guy, then look at his childhood, determine his rights, blah blah freakin' blah. The COPS (for the most part) are folks who dedicate their lives to protecting the rest of us from idiots and filling out traffic collision reports for beans. Give them some respect and don't make idiotic comments about cops in general. If you want to point out a bad one, great, slam away, but don't generalize. That shows ignorance. And no, I'm not an ass kisser, that is how I've always felt. Next time you get pulled over and given a speeding ticket, at the end, say "thank you, I appreciate what you do" and see how you are treated. Probably a lot different than if you run your mouth about a $100 ticket when the very next stop some meth head could end their life.

You're very welcome. You can't count the amount of tickets and junk I've gotten away with for just being NICE the minute they hit your drivers window. Have all your crap turned off, DL, CC permit, insurance in one hand and the other on the steering wheel. Folks just don't get the simple things that make them feel safe mean the world to them and you'll usually get off with a warning or a 10 minute conversation about hunting or the football game.

That is a very well stated post.. The only time I can actually say I issue citations is when it's necessary for my arrest or if the driver is a complete asshole! We don't like spending out days off in JP court!
 
The last ticket I got out of was doing 92 in a 65. The state trooper came up and said "WTH are you doing?". I told my wife to take the wash cloth off my 2 year old's head and show him the hole in it from the night stand. I said, "I'm playing ambulance, sir". I got a "be careful and GO 65 or I'll take you to jail."

Wade got his first stiches...all 5 of them. The trooper pulled out and went the other way...maybe his way of saying...I'm not looking but I did my job and warned you. :D MOST OK state troopers are very cool guys...most..
 
Most Officers are good people.. But it's just like any other profession, there are are bad apples. It's just we are in the public eye and get more media coverage when we mess up.
 
And the media coverage is normally only when things go bad, just like the war againt camels. Lets only show the officers that shoot someone and broadcast it live to the world, forget about the other 95 officers that day in the same city that helped folks. :Throwup:

Look, yall are missing the point. A few local cops in the small town I grew up in were kinda crooked. Therefore all LEOs are crooked, bribe taking, drug dealing, criminal, low life scum.

Just like all Jews are rich investors, all blacks are thugs like that one rapper...

Oh, wait. Blanket statements pretty much only prove the stupidity of the one making them.
