6414T and 6068

I know that the 6414T is basically the old version of the 6068T.. So can i swap a 6414T into a Tractor using the 6068T? or put the 6068T into a tractor with a 6414T? I now have an extra 6414T that needs rebuilt, that if it can be swapped into our other skidders (Equipped with 6068T's) It will be kept for a spare.. Thanks for any input

I'm not sure what tractor you want to swap it into.. I don't know of any differances, as far as mounting goes.. There are a few different intake setups.. but mostly minor stuff.. Its a great engine.. long stroke.. there are a hand full of different rear mounting plates, you'll just have to use the plate off the application..

I know of a couple of guys that have swapped engines in wheel loaders and the only problem was the water pump. If you get me model's of each l can look them up in the parts catalog.
