Boost gauge flutter.

put a small kink in the 1/8 line. it will stop the gauge from fluttering

Are you asking about the one in the compound set, if so then no it is not gated, as for the other smaller turbo I tried it was gated.

Tighten the nut over the ferrule more until the flutter goes away. It will restrict the line just as a needle valve would. Just don't go too far as there is no going back without getting a new ferrule.
