Side draft intake on a 6.7

I'm in the process of building a new motor and having a head gone thru for it. As far as head goes is worth the cost to have a side draft done? I'm currently doing bigger valves and port and polish. With the stock motor I was putting 900hp 1900ftlbs in the dyno and my new goals are 1200 on fuel and 1500 give or take on spray. What benefits have guys seen with side drafts?

I would like to know myself I have made 1200+ on the stock intake with a mild ported headed I wonder what all else it helps also

I have heard of problem with side drafts pushing open the valves on 3&4 because the air is rushing to one area of the head. The intake plenum by D&J that Lavon uses helps distribute the air along the entire head first before going into the valves. I am not an expert this is just what I have heard.

Looks like I'm going with the side draft. Next project will be figuring out how to mount the fuel plate and other things
