Well i went to the strip help me
Went to the local 1/8 strip ran a best of a 7.52 at 91.83 60ft of 1.7. It was on firestone straight tread tires with around 60psi in tires. Launched at 15psi and 20psi with pretty much the exact same time and everything.anything over 20 would spin and hop. This was with a firepunk street tune. Hot tune ran slower with a best of 7.64 on 15psi. What can i do for a better time. Tires or pressurein tires. Left in drive with tow haul on flipped lockup in 3rd and shut tow haul off. Is there a better way to do that. Mods in my sig.

I would drop tire pressure a lot. Maybe start at 40psi and go down from there.

Add a lockup switch and engage it before you stage, lockup will engage after 2nd gear on it's own.

I have a lockup switch but if i flip it on in gear before staging wont it kill it or am i missing here. Ive been trying to get it dynoed i have no idea what hp i am at. Really was hoping for 900+. Not sure if im there. What else can i do for more hp ffaster times. Dont really want to change turbo or injectors. Would an aftermarket intake horn help. Dont wanna use drugs either.

Lockup wont engage until 2nd gear. It will come in on it's own after trans shifts to 2nd. Every truck I've ever been around has ran it's quickest this way.
Try it on the street, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I wouldn't do an SXE, I'd get a nice 76 with a billet wheel from someone like Infinite or FI. You'll definitely be a little more laggy but I think the truck and turbo would both be happier with an S400 on it.

IMO a 476 would require you to restall the converter to a 2500-2800 stall on a 5.9. There are a few threads in this section that discuss which stall to use. I would go with a nice 472/87/.90 or 1.0. It would drive nice, and you wouldnt have to restall the converter.
If you can get a weight on the truck, you can use the weight/ET calculator to get a guestimate of HP. I would expect somewhere around 800-850hp with a 7.52 and it weighs around 7000lbs.

Om trying to figure out how theres so many in ohio with this turbo dynoing 900 to 1000. And mine is only around 800. The truck that broke a 1000hp had smaller injectors and was pretty much setup identical to mine
