If neither class wants me, I may put a plug in my Turbo and passenger seat in and go pull 2.6

Nah, I say go for broke and pull the work stock class. If you lower your hitch height you can talk the 16 year old officials at the brush pulls it's not necessary to pop your hood.

Anyone that knows me well, knows this is a hobbie to let our hair down and have some fun.
I agree with Wayne rules could change for diesels so a truck could be built to pull in different organization.. A open single stock drive line is a unicorn class. Letting the 3.0 trucks pull is a step in the right direction. But having spent some time on a engine Dyno I wouldn't want to take a step backwards in power to run a drop box. I think that class is going to penalize the diesels to a point the don't want to pull anymore. So what class do you build for?? That is the million dollar question. I say open single cut tire class.

Re

I totally agree. Looks like power pulling productions is going to run their 7500 open class at a bunch more events. I think the diesel guys have continued to deal with what ever it takes to pull, when is it enough? Give us the class we want, Tim won the class last year, he should get to make the rules.

Well the rules are up on fpp.com and they say it's staying the same for RWYB.

I would think this would keep the diesels out of rwyb and give the gas guys there class back. Rwyb is not going to be happy if there are 3-5 good running diesel taking the top five spots. My opinion gas isn't going to be able to hang with the diesel technology any more with out blowers. They get blowers know it is time to have fun.

I don't understand why it is the way it is! I would think opening up the rears and allowing the 3.0 trucks in is a step closer to a true SS class. I feel this is what guys want and it will make for a better show cause there will be less carnage so guys will show up week in and out cause they aren't fixing drive line or problems caused by drive line breakage.

Its the same in debate in Texas. Some want open some want stock. In the end nothing changed and the trucks keep breaking parts. At least we voted not to lock the rules for 3 years.

I say screw it who cares make it a unlimited everything class since nobody cares what it costs, hell why not open it up to any diesel motor in any truck! Make it so if you dont have 100k in your truck dont even show up, that's how you get people to come pull!

Truck pulling I would assume is like any motor sport. Go out to have fun or spend more to try to hopefully win. What would be the problem with grouping all unlimited single turbo trucks in one class. Drop box seems to me foolish to separate the classes. With open rears 4k seems cheep to me to not have to work on drive line.
