External Wet sump oil systems...

Who all runs them?? What are the pros and cons of going to an external system?
Looking for ideas, really wanting to be able to run a stand alone oil system for my turbo(s) just to keep from loosing one if i have a bearing failure in the engine.

Looking at a configuration such as this: Except the 2nd stage will be on a seperate system.

Nobody....??? Ive seen this done on tractors.. didnt know if any have tried it on trucks yet... or are most using dry sump systems???

John robinsons funny car has one, not sure if its wet or dry though..

found two more of the Autoverdi pumps, they are the best would maybe give you 1 or 2 inches of vacume

this one was about $600 for a pump that is close to $5000 new
