I bought this rolling box on CL for $100

I've never seen a locking 3 digit code roller before

All drawers are ball bearing and the casters are 6"x2" and a greaseable

For $100....its a good find!!!

Anyways, the bottom deep drawer needs a new ball bearing slide on the right side

The slide bracket is marked Accuride

Without having or knowing a model number or anything about this roller, where can I find or get a new slide assembly?

The box is 42 1/4" tall x 33 1/2" wide

Accuride, Waterloo and Sears DO NOT make or sell a replacement slide for this drawer slide

Any ideas?

Maybe you can just put hinges on the bottom drawer..I know it sounds stupid but I would be cheap and easy...does the drawers have a self latch?

The bottom drawer is 16" deep

Slides are 16" collapsed and 32 1/4" expanded

Lowes sells similar slides. They kind of look like the same slides that are on my snap on box

Thanks I'll swing by Lowes today and see

I know the current slides are pop riveted in to the roller chest...... so I'll have to drill them out and find a new way to mount the new slides

Self tapping screws?

Pop Rivets??? Stick with that...

So you are suggesting to just drill out the pop rivets that secure the slides to the box and then pop rivet the new slides back in?

So, without reading all the posts, have you called and talked to Accuride? We put their slides in a butt load of US Navy racks and order them by the dozens. Surely to hell they have a part number that will work as a replacement. It looks like all the ones we get. You might just have one that extends over 2 inches, or 1 inch, or something a little different. Just replace both sides and call it good.

The only difference is probably the bent tab that mounts them. Just drill and us pop rivets.

Yes, Accuride told me the Craftsman slides were custom made for Sears' specs and there is not a replacement part slide

Accuride has been helpful with having 2-3 slide options, that will require slight modification........nothing they offer is a direct replacement

The tech says the 3301 series is better weight rated than the 3832 series
