I'm a laboratory scientist with what is probably the best 2001 Dodge diesel ever made. It's been mine for about 13 years, and has been nearly trouble free, except for an overdrive bearing. I've been gradually adding go fast parts here and there, and now it really does go fast! Drake Swett helped me out with a transmission rebuild using Suncoast parts, and I still haven't been able to break it!

I will enjoy reading vicariously on Competition Diesel about the experiences of guys that drive race trucks. That's really what I would rather be doing!

He's a scientist. I bet he knows words that we can not comprehend.

Snudge is right. You guys could never understand a word as large as overdrive. You has to have a Edge-a-macation for that. Mine runs on 5X5 all the time.

I was referring to the word vicariously. Potato tomato though right? LOL

I was joking of course. Lighten up and start reading around the forum. Tons of info for you here. I think some have found their trucks run better on lower levels with their edge too FYI ;)
