he351 366 twin combo?
I have an early he351 with the non electric waste gate and a 66/73 t4 .90 ar non gated turbo what do you guys think of using them as a twin setup on a 12v with a 3k gov spring and 5x10s as tow rig.

You have an he341. I would try to get a 351 to run with the 66. Would be very similar to the BD towing twin set

I run a hx35-14 with a s366 .90 compounds on my 34ft diesel pusher. Runs very well and gets good milage. Its a good all around combo on a low rpm setup (factory gov) I tow 33k with race trailer and rv combined.

I tried researching this exact combo but didn't come up with much. I'm building compounds for my 4b. My big setup would be like a towing compound setup on a 6b. I ended up buying a freshly rebuilt hx55 with 70mm compressor side that I'm gonna try well see how it works. I have a 351 as the high pressure and it's running every little bit out of it with a 55jet of nitrous on it

I ran a similar combo on my truck, (H1E s366 .88 open)not much top end, but man it had torque! I remember twisting off an 1 1/4" input shaft by rolling into the throttle at 30mph on a hill. Made less than 400hp, but close to 1300lbs torque. 14mmVE

The 351cw has what some people might call an electronic wastegate.

I'm currently finishing up compounds on my 93 using a wh1c/hx40 hybrid (60/58/12) and an s467fmw/83/1.1. Honestly I wouldn't run an s300 primary (mostly due to flow. Iirc a 366 flows 70something lb/min whereas the 467 I have flows 98) and I happen to believe the people who have switched from s366's to 467's saying the s400 is nicer all around

Who are these people? Isn't the cw just a boost referenced diaphram? I've never seen one in stock form.

There is an electric solenoid where you get the boost reference off the compressor housing.

Both the HE351cw and HE341 have a mechanical wastegate meaning boost pressure entering the diaphragm operates the gate. The 341 has a simple brass elbow that feeds boost to the signal line whereas the 351 has a barb coming from the side of a raised portion on the compressor cover that happens to have an electronic bleeder solenoid mounted in close proximity. In stock form the HE351 with the electronics present but disconnected, the boost signal freely travels to the barb which opens the wastegate right at 26psi boost. With the electronics connected and with the factory ECM control on an 04.5 to early 07 5.9 CR, under certain full throttle conditions, the solenoid is energized and creates an internal bleed to allow boost pressure to spike to 31 psi for a short term higher boost/higher engine power output. The bleed is internal and vents off some of the signal pressure to the inducer side of the compressor wheel cover down in the map groove area. This signal bleed allows the wastegate to stay closed a little longer and boost pressure rises about 5 psi. EFI tuners play with the solenoid control on 06 and 07 models and make the bleed stay energized to get boost into the upper 30's and mid 40 psi range.
Most HE341's= 56mm compressor/65mmx58mm turbine/9cm open
Some early HE341's= 54mmx78mm compressor/65mmx58mm turbine/9cm open
All HE351cw= 60mmx86mm compressor/65mmx58mm turbine/9cm open
And yes, the center section/hotside/turbine wheel/exhaust housing is identical other than the backing plate bore for the HE341 is not bored wide enough to fit the 86mm exducer of the HE351's larger compressor.
