The one gen

Well guys, I'll be honest. I've had a few slight hicups with this truck and have come across ANOTHER car I am interested in, so I am not sure I need to have another truck at the moment, one that needs work to boot.

It has 215,000 on the body, and 175,000 on the motor, but everything else has 1000 miles on it.

There is very minimal rust on it. Just two spots on the sides of the fenders. Rockers and underbody are perfect.

I replaced all of the brake system besides the booster:

calipers
rotors
pads
hand bent lines
master cylinder
all rubber lines
drums
springs for drums
shoes
e brake cables (all 3)
abs sensor
amsoil fluid
bearings
etc

new Suspension and steering parts:

new tie rod ends
alignment
steering stabilizer
red head steering box
borgeson high flow power steering fluid pump
vacuum pump seals
borgeson u joint style HD steering shaft
skyjacker soft ride 2.5" leaf springs in the front
bilstein 5100 shocks all around
heavy duty receiver hitch (recessed) with rigid industries led reverse light (hidden)
new vacuum hoses
amsoil power steering fluid

Engine and fuel parts:

all brand new 1/2" hoses
Hellman fuel sump
Fass 220 gph adjustable lift pump
donaldson water separator and fuel filter
dual feed to the 160 ppump
tork tek 060 hp overflow banjo (pressure never drops below 50 psi)
mack rack plug
power driven 7mm dv's
infinite performance 5x.016's 155* (weston's injectors and recommendation)
stock lines
no plate
AFC live
60 lb valve springs
4k gsk
billet tappet cover
billet stock lift pump block off plate
22* timing
PDR 5 layer 150 psi intercooler boots
2nd gen intercooler and radiator
KDP tabbed
new front crank seal and new rear main seal
fumoto drain valve
Borg Warner SX-E 64.5/73/.91 T4
Steed Speed T4 manifold with stainless bolts
4" full exhaust
ss oil feed line and new oil drain
donaldson elf7349 oil filter and brad penn 15w-40 diesel oil has been used
amsoil coolant

Driveline/transmission parts:

mag hytec rear dana 70 pan
amsoil severe gear fluid
dana 60 front end with lockable hubs
all new u joints
sfi rated flex plate
DPC billet triple disc convertor

4x4 47RH trans with:

tcs billet input shaft
pcs billet parts (band, strut, acumulator and servo)
direct power pack from firepunk diesel (5 friction setup)
trans go full manual valve body constant pressure
2nd gear servo return spring from goerend
deep aluminum pan (temps never saw over 170)
48RE overdrive planetary set
5 pinion steel main planet upgrade

O/D and Lockup switches

NP205 transfer case

B&M pro ratchet stealth shifter
BD diesel remote trans cooler with fan (on switch) (in the bed of truck) 1/2" lines

Moto Metal 962 wheels 20x12 with 33" mickey thompson atz's (90% tread left)
Metal Lugz black spiked lug nuts
Extang tonneau cover

Isspro gauges:

fuel pressure
fuel level (new isspro sender too)
boost
pyro
trans temp
tach

New pioneer sound system with JL Audio 10" sub behind seat

Interior is excellent (minus headliner)

Truck Lite LED dot legal headlights

Now for the bad. I sent in an oil analysis report and here are the results. I see no coolant in the oil though. Dipstick looks perfect, as does oil fill cap. No oil in coolant. Truck runs awesome, so it beats me.

ALSO. While in the middle of following Blackstone Labs recommendations, I suddenly had no forward gears while laying into the throttle. I am 100% sure the stock intermediate shaft broke (cleanly). I still have reverse, but no forward gears. The trans is currently out of the truck.

I have over $23,000 into parts on this thing and once back together, I am confident it will be a runner again. I have seemingly lost some of the original excitement and interest for this rig and it needs someone to get it back where it should be. I am being totally honest here and not trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes.

I am asking $15,000 for EVERYTHING mentioned above and below

A stock 47RH will go with it, as well as a new 12v standard bore block, a 12v short block, 12v head thats almost new and has titanium keepers and retainers + 60 lb springs, new balanced crank, and extra ppump injection pump

Please call me or text me with any questions or more pictures (I have a bunch) at 814-460-3465. My name is Devin. Truck is located in Clearfield, PA 16830. Thank you

The transmission is out of the truck and it has a broken intermediate shaft. It broke cleanly. The truck and every part mentioned is located at my house in Clearfield PA 16830. Any questions, ask away...

Silicones a bit high. Suspect an inefficient air filter. Take the intake tube off and check for fine dust at the turbo inlet.

Mediocre zinc in the highly touted Brad Penn, and not a very robust additive package at all. Modern diesel industry marketing at its best...it's no better than WalMart oil like Rotella.

Good luck with the sale/trade.

The engine oil cooler could be suspect for the coolant in the oil. When sampling mine a few years ago, trace amounts of antifreeze showed up. After looking back over pictures of the original head gasket replacement, my oil cooler looked like this and I didn't give it any thought then.

Click the image to open in full size.

After a new oil cooler, oil change and sample, no more antifreeze.

Just a thought.
