cant get to the link. is that a HTBG top turbo? whats the primary? did you use a 5" brake? who makes it? can a 4" brake be put in the hot pipe?

Buddy of mine is running a remote mount pac brake I believe with his 35/400 twins.

Yeah, I talked to Pacbrake before... I think they make an inline(remote) brake for a 5" pipe. Thats what I would use. Just put it in the downpipe or immediately after.

The link seems to work for me,the top turbo is a s300g primary is a AR/T74 same as a s400 74mm Its a 06 oem jake elbow and its mounted off the primary I had to drop to 4" but thats the size of exhaust Im using.the pics in the link better explain it.

ive build both 2nd gen and 3rd gen twins with turbo mount brakes in the hot pipe. works great. Ill try to get some pictures posted.

I am running a 4 inch inline Pacbrake. I have a 5 inch downpipe (so called) that tapers to a 4 inch exhaust pipe. So my brake is quite a bit down the exhaust. Works Great.

Pacbrake sells a 4" and 5" inline mounting kit that you put right after the downpipe under the passenger floorboard.

heres a few pics this is a hy35 and ht3b, i have also done an s400 and a street stock 62 from htt, and a second gen hx35-ht3b. i will have to take pics of the 2nd gen and i gotta resize the 62-s400 pics.

seriousdiesel, that looks just like my hy-9/k31 setup, was a tight fit, but it works great, Its the ultimate towing setup.

from those pictures it looks like your exhaust brake is between turbos?..hows does that work out ..mummn Also what size is your k31 turbine?.. im messing with a small twins set too ..I have 12v p pump..I have a HX50 with modified 6cm turbine. it ran good, I have 9cm turbine from a hy35 and i was thinking of modifing it for the hx50 or welding and boring a hx35 12cm wastegate housing..either way it would be coupled with a ht3b 20cm or bigger housing I have 32cm garrett turbine housing.. any ideas? how was your drive pressure etc?
Thanks
Deo

i have the 4" pacbrake prxb inline under the pass floor... works just as good as the turbo mount i had when running the single turbo.

yeah a remote mount is what Im planning to do the in the hotpipe exhaust brake seems to restrictive or messes with the surge possibly..never seen one set up like that till those pictures.. I have a 4" bd remote and a 5" pacbrake remote..probably use the 4"on my excursion and 5" on my first gen..

Where can one find a remode 4", or 5" exhaust brake for a reasonable price?? I already have the everything from my factory mounted pac brake.. I will be putting it in the down pipe as well..
