Been Looking, Reading And Searching Over And Over But Really Can't Make Up My Mind Which Way To Go. What Tranny Builder ,what Parts And So On. I Want 700 -800 Hp Range Eventually So Im Going To Go With Full Billet And Everything But What Can I Expect To Spend On A Complete Tranny Or Would It Be Just As Good To Buy The Parts And Have A Local Tranny Builder Do It. I Know One Personally And He Is Pretty Good. Is There Any Benefit To The Cases That Alot Of Builders Use Like Ats Or Is The Stock Case Strong Enough? I Know Its A Big Question And By The Looks Of It Alot Of Different Answers And Opinions Are Out There. Thanks For Any Input.

I'm a DTT fan but there are plenty of other builders out there that great tranny's .

But like mentioned above , expect to pay around 8k for a good full billet.

Call Dave Goerend. He will set you up. I don't think it will be $8000 if you go that route. He has fantastic service and the best warranty out there.

I dont have any personal experiance with Goerend but Ive heard noting but good things about them. I personally prefer Suncoast.

I got a dtt and yes it would be around 8 for a full billet.I would stick to the well known builders if I were you.

I have tried many companys out there and Goerend has my vote to be the best around. I have had great success with his parts and service.

My fully billet tranny with IE parts was pretty close to 8K... :Cheer:

Call dave at Ultimate and tell him what you want and he'll get you a price...

I would look at HTS there have very good prices, dealers all over the country, and they are currently top spot with a 1300+hp truck runnin there trans.

If your in the SouthEast, you can't go wrong with "The" Jeff Garmon 770-898-8585

I've got Full Billet, Triple disk, Flexplate, and Double Deep pan and It didn't cost me $8K

Im a Dave Goerend fan my friend. I have a Full billet everything (auto), I love everything about it.

i just got a goerend trans w/ a billet input...for the little bit i drove it its awesome...

sounds like theres an even vote on most builders out there...just go with one close to you and run with it

i am an HTS fan

I am an HTS fan as well. And it won't cost you $8000 for a full billet HTS. Somewhere around $4500-$6000. To top it off, they have really good Customer Service, Great company.

Same here HTS all the way good price, and service and Now they are sponsors on here as well. Like rod said about redstroke 1300+ truck and alot of quick race truck and other big power trucks have his stuff and it holds and put major power to the ground.

Wow Im Blown Away By All The Post Over 1 Night Thanks For All The Info. This Forum Is Great With A Bunch Of Good People It Seems.

I Do Live In Southeast(south Florida) So I Will Probably Consider Someone Atleast Considerably Close Like Suncoast?
