Ive seen videos of that car or one like it.

Stock engine with injectors and tuning made 1010hp IIRC

Insane how quick it was, 70 to 180 in about 3 seconds

70 to 180 in 3 seconds? Only if they were taping the speedo and the tires broke loose. I dont see anyway possible that car could even remotely accelerate that fast...

I seen it, it was insane. Everybody that rode in it was WHITE when they got out. It had severe traction issues.

Havent been able to find that vid ever since. Its been 2 years or more though.

Engine may have been built, I seem to distinctly remember them saying it was stock excluding the fuel system.

We had a GT 1000 in the shop for an alignment a few months ago that Hennessey dropped off. The old timers that saw it didn't have a clue what it was. I lost count of how many people's heads turned to look at it when they were driving by.

1000+ hp and it can only muster a 10.6 quarter??? Trucks with 1000rwhp diesels do that and weigh twice as much. What gives? Stock tires? Chitty driver?

Seen a few of those in a couple of shops around here. Saw one driving through the best buy parking lot on 183 the other night. It was red and white striped. Sounded freaking wicked.

There is such a thing as "too much HP". This is one example.

There is a show on speed by Tanner Foust called "super car" something. He had a show on a air strip where local GT, GT1000, vette, porsche owners all came out.. the GT1000's didn't stand a chance. there is one porsche I suspect is around 1000hp, AWD and looks like grandma's car too ;-)
