what was the clacking sound? I heard it sounded almost like a nitrous backfire or something going off?
 
that was a cool show, hear say it was a cracked rail but I have no effin idea, just hear say.
 
It was a interesting run thats for sure!

Great numbers! The next step is finding a dyno to get a higher reading!
 
The noise you heard was the PRV. backing off. After the run we pulled the PRV. and everything was good. NICE JOB AARON!!!!!!!
 
Great Job! It was nice to see that there was no major damage and you guys were able to drive the truck around after you repaired the PRV.

I'm glad I was there to see that run first hand.

Looks like you are around 1250 if you fill in the lines with the same curve, for guesstimating purposes only of course.

PRV. that's the rail relieve valve your talking about? Sound like injector rattle until some boost came on it me.

However, it sure does spool quickly.

eeek......didn't like that guy looking under at the pan for a rod sticking out........hate it when that happens.
 
The truck is ok he drove home 2hrs that night.


It would be quick in the 1/4 "if" he could get the transmission to hold up. It ran 12.2x ish when we were up at DPC, on 37" mud tires.
