I've had this thing laying around for a while. My turbo guy says it looks good, but we're going to go through it and rebuild it and rebalance it. He's going to get back w/ me on Tues or Wed of next week with the wheel and housing specs.

seeing if there's any interest

I've got one at the turbo shop, tough as nails with no real issues, inlet is 85 mm and mine has a 28cm housing on it........it might need and external gate.

If I had a place for it I'd take it off your hands.

Jim

that's what he said... looks good, never seen one really take a dump, they're really tough, huge shaft/bearings, etc.

The HT4B is no joke, it will move a ton of air, shame as it seems to have been forgotten, looking forward to playing/tuning it!

Jim

Thats a reasonable price! Ive got one paired with a 62/71/.80ar S300 and it is a nice setup even just a VE and a bit above 500hp.

BUMP.

Who knows of a tighter housing for a 4B, I have one on mine but I'm thinking there are others that might need one too.

Jim

well, you've definitely got some room to grow w/ that setup!

Alittle! :bang But you'd be supprised how a charger this size spools. With the VE and a big exhaust housing on the 4B im making peak power around 2700rpm! Now if I could find a smaller exhaust housing...

I might have some interest in this, just got the VP ordered today, so I should be up and running whenever it gets here. But I'll give you a shout later on this week to see if you still have it.

Might try to talk you into bringing it by the shop if you have time.

I got the turbo today. I pulled the housings and measured the wheels. As near as I can tell, the comp wheel is an 83mm inducer, 126mm major diameter, and the turbine wheel is an 88mm exducer with a 118mm major

the turbine housing looks fairly small... it has a part number on it that looks to be a Cummins PN of 3522159

inside the inlet there is just a line that doesn't look to be a CM measurement (this is a Holset, not a Garrett, so it will have a CM measurement)

on the outside of the turbine housing, the only thing that looks like it could be a CM measurement is 21

the compressor housing has been modified to make the MWE portion of the housing functional. This may be a previous custom build with a tight turbine housing and the MWE portion made functional.

The turbo is freshly rebuilt/balanced/etc. I would like to get $900 for it. this will drop into a twin kit that utilizes an HT3B and will outflow an S480, it's fresh and ready to rock

will consider any offers, trades, etc.
