PRI Convention drag race/dyno Orlando Fla. December 10th

It was nice hanging out with everyone again. Seems like its been a while (Except Pliska, he's everywhere!). Congrats to all who competed!

FYI all of you I told we would go do something or I would call you Saturday night. I wasn't lying, I just totally forgot my phone broke Saturday morning so couldn't get anyones contact info. So unless you had Gilmore Performance number or I had your number memorized I couldn't hang out. We went to Cowboys saturday and let me tell you. It was an awesome time!

Yup, his first ever bracket race. Guess who gave him pointers.....yup..this guy.

He did good, I think he made it to the third round.

Like I told my wife back in the day, I go to meet people, drink beers and shoot the chit not to make money. If I win its just a bonus. Last time I won I blew it all at the bar the same night.

Yeah it was! I had one pass that I literally spun all the way down the track, had to drive that sucker all the way to the finish line!

That was some tight racing too! Everybody was running tough. I think every race I had was decided by less than a .08 or so except one.

And thanx to the NADM! I actually wasn't even gonna race but Phillip "talked me into it" (yeah, that's tough to do LOL ). I was expecting there to be only about 10-15 trucks and heard there was 59!

And good seeing everybody and meeting some new people as usual. :D

.

Danny, hope the hotel took care of you on the rate for the second night, i asked them to extend my discount to you cause i didnt stay a second night.

it was a damn good time... what was that quote while in the taxi "can you step this damn thing up, or do i have to piss on your floor?" haha

Still trying to figure out how to get the photos small enough to get on here - lol! Guess I'm technical deficit!

I only have a few but Ill put them up, they turned out kinda dark!

Thanks everyone. The wife and I had a great time. It sure stinks to be back here in the frozen tundra. The overall turnout for the race was far more than I expected, and terrific for our sport! Nice to see some of the usual suspects, and met a ton of new folks. Damn glad to finally meet you Rob, I sure hope to catch a race with you soon. Big pat on the back to Chuck, for doing such a great job keeping the race running smooth(on a very limited staff!)

A few photos! Man it's really cold down in FL today!

Your truck was rollin'! :rockwoot:

Anthony - I was planning to head to Cowboys, got as far as heading towards the car, realized I forgot my sweatshirt in the room, went back, answered a couple emails while in the room, and fell asleep! The consecutive late nights finally caught up with me! I woke back up around 11:00 and thought about heading out, but wasn't sure if I'd be able to find you guys. I needed to keep it mellow that night anyway since I was racing in the big bracket race the next morning, but that race rained out just as 1st round was starting.

I had a great time, it was fun hanging out with everyone!

Congrats buddy!
