pop the 188-220 in and see where you go from there.
Ron it sounds like everything is coming together for ya.

Not going to happen Zach. The 188-220 is going in the 6.7 with the zzfab head. I'm even more interested in how that's going to turn out after trying the new pump.
Yes. It was the pump causing it to de-fuel. This one is still pulling past 150mph(over 4k).
I think you are getting close to your goals you had with the 6.7, zz head and 188-220. Knowing that the pump and injectors was holding you back, you might have to come up with a new goal for the new found air. More air, more fuel, more air, more fuel, more air, more fuel. At what point are you going to stop?
I decided not to try building a set of tripples and sold my set of (the next size up) injector nozzles, so I guess I'm getting towards the end. It ran 11.1@126 defueling before each shift with a mediocre 1.7 60ft. It's up 200hp now and almost 1000 more rpm along with much stronger mid range and spools faster. I'm thinking if it will hold together, the last goals will be reached with one more 1/4 mile pass. I think that will make either 9 or 10 total 1/4 mile passes on this truck. That's 11 more than it was designed for.LOL
i have heard there is a huge throttle difference between 4k and 5k's would you agree? also what one do you like more and why?

Thank you, that's about what i was looking for.
Also curious, what did these pumps start life as? Curious if they have the same cam in them.
Thanks for all the good info hope the tuning comes easy
My CDS pump started out as a stock 180 core pump. My new one started out as an almost new(17k miles) 887(215) pump. CDS pump has stock cam, new pump has a modified(but not radical) cam.
