That looks good. You must really have that 400 tucked up to the block, I usually dont have room for the v-band and have to cut it off and weld a tigh 90 onto the compressor housing to make more room.

A local guy machined that adapter. Lloyd at Mid Atlantic diesel got it for me. The rest is Sch. 10 316L stainless I had left over from a cannery I plumbed. 4' 45's and 90's all TIG'ed together.

I looked at using 5" and decided on the 4". S480 outlet was only 4" inches anyway. I can only imagine how tight a 5" 90 would be off the back of the charger.

thats pretty sweet roach, i'm plannin on doin twins on my conviersion if i ever get my mtr built, its nice to see what one looks like to have an idea for future reffrence.

I will also say....My down pipe is 5" and its tighter than a mother theresa...lol 4" would have been a breeze

Also using a waste gated turbo also makes it hell. I used a phat shaft 62 and I think next time I will use a non waste gated turbo

Not sure what style gate the phat shaft has The adjustable spring gate like CPP sells is what my HTT 62 has on it and it's nice and slim. Unless its the entire housing that makes it tight. I don't know how that will fare for your converted trucks though.

Well, I was planning on doing a Fummins conversion in my '03, but decided to sell and recoupe some of the money I had in it... Bought my '97 OBS to do the Fummins conversion now. Anywho, I am still planning on building a HE351 over S475 set like this, but was wondering if I would have better luck running a 3rd gen manifold, or if I should stick with my stock 24V manifold that is on there now like Roach did.
