My stock 4x.012's have got nearly 300k miles on them, and I'm looking to upgrade. Anybody run Contagious 7x.010's?

im glad you posted this, im in the same boat, i would like to upgrade a little.

Not from contagious but I have ran 7x.012 with good results. Also it was in a 95 truck.

You looking for power upgrade? Or just wanting a good injector?

A little of both. My stockers seem to be wearing out, and I'd like to do a bit of an upgrade from the 4x.012's when I replace them. My HX35 might not burn all the fuel very well, but I can turn the pump back down after installation until I can upgrade the turbo again.

I ran 5x14s with a stock turbo did pretty good

Fat fingered from my dumb phone

I would just put new 4x12s in it 7 holes in my experience don't burn fuel any better than a 5 hole

Like I said, I'm wanting to do a slight upgrade from what I had before. Otherwise I'd just send mine off to have them rebuilt.

Perhaps you could tell me more about the differences in fewer holes with larger ports versus more holes with smaller ports. There would have to be an application difference, otherwise there would be no need to have both on the market. And since both kind are relatively close in price range, why would it simply be a marketing strategy?

So which color tractor dominates the prostock pulling class?

And they all run 5-hole nozzles from a Mack. We probably take in a half dozen sets of 7-hole 12v injectors in per month on trade to go back to a 5-hole.

we put 7 x 10's in a '93 with an he351. They clear up pretty well. If you lug, they will smoke a good bit, but clean up with quickly.

If they are the 148* cone angle they are not bad, I have seen good results on the 1st Gen platform, just not anything I would say is "superior" to a 5-hole nozzle.

I enjoy my 7 hole set....
