Labor Day 2012 Firepunk Dirt Drags

I was just back at the field and right now its perfect. Id say if it doesn't rain much during the day tomorrow we'll be good to go. Even if we get another half inch of rain between now and then we should be fine.

Thats good cause its a slop hole down here. 5+ inches yesterday alone
 
Me and the family are planning on coming, just going to watch the weather close.
 
Track is ready and can handle quite a bit of rain so unless it rains monsoons mid day there will be racing tomorrow, the track is pretty tight and should hook well considering it's dirt. There will also be a local homemade ice cream stand setup for anyone who likes ice cream.

After 3 a.m. and still dry, looks like we'll need to bring the tanker to get moisture on the track, , see you all around noon.

Well watching the weather channel the green stuff is just sitting there. So we are headed that way in a little bit and hope for the best.
 
This'll be my last check to make sure everything is a go for today.....putting on my cleanest pair of dirty pants and headed your way shortly.
 
I really wanted to come, but this is too risky to chance a 4 hour drive. Maybe next year the weather will be a little more friendly

We've had rain just south of us now for two days and haven't got any of it.
 
How did this go. If I could get a enough people to come I would put one of these on with a 100% payback to 1,2,3 place winners.
