You mighta just set off a chit storm:hehe:

I'll give you props on the fab, welds look pretty damn good. Looks like you have a decently equipped shop there.

Most on here aren't fans of 10" stacks, hell stacks in general unless they are on competition rigs.

I like the truck personally, minus the stack(s).

Truck is neat but why 10"? What made you say oh yaaaa one big ol 10" stack would look just right... Not my style but the pickup did look good before the stack.

Haha I don't wanna stir up anything, the reason I went so big was because when I made the dual mitres I thought they would be huge but on a lifted truck looked quite small in person, so if I ran single why not be a little different. I work with stainless all day so for me to have a normal 4" or 5" is pretty much impossible and to me personally a little boring. Why can't daily drivers have stacks ? If it keep from smoking out everyone I think people would be all for it, with efi live it doesn't smoke much anymore which is awesome but with the smarty it would black out intersections. So are only 2 wheel drive half tons allowed to run stacks? Haha I understand it's not for everyone but to each his own.

Amazingly enough it dosent look bad, welds are excellent! Many points for ingenuity and workmanship... As with the other guys I personally wouldnt do a 10", but, this isnt as bad as i thought it was going to be when I clicked on the thread!

BTW where abouts in Canada are you?

All stacks do my man is make you look like a hillbilly redneck, unless you are pulling a sled or running a quarter mile. There is no performance gain over running a stack vs a straight pipe.

So are only 2 wheel drive half tons allowed to run stacks?

And statements like this just make you sound like a moron! Your right to each is own, but this statment is not needed.

I personall like the dual black stacks on there the best. Just looks gaudy with the single 10" on there.

Not a fan of such a large stack myself. I like the dual miters better. Giving credit where credit it due though... Nice work building your own!

I think that this new member has done the right things to avoid said chit show. He hasnt been rude, or talked about smoke. And his fab skills are excellent. I say we just accept it for what it is, a person with above average skills displaying them with his thoughts as to what looks good on HIS truck......

No doubt, the fab work is very nice. Wish my TIG skills were up there, of course it's been 10 years since I touched one so...yeah.

Definitely props to be had, it does look pretty decent too. Well done on both OP and the chit storm that never materialized:clap:
