So the plan is for next year.

They follow NHRA rules. If you are faster than 11.50, then you need a roll bar. If you break 9.99, you need a roll cage. There are other pieces of safety equipment that you'll need in either class. They're posted in a sticky in the Drag Racing section of this site.

I went 11.2 last year and no one ever asked to see any safety equipment. I sure dont have to worry about breaking into the 9s haha
