Doesn't look like this has been posted yet, but there's finally a diesel event at my home track in Gulfport, MS. :D Looks like there's gonna be a really good turnout of trucks, Pro Street too. And for all you degenerates, all the coast casinos are right down the road. LOL

Looks like I'll make it. Wasn't a head gasket on the truck like I first thought.

Looks like the weather is gonna be great! Low 60*'s and no rain. :D

I still plan on making it. Heading out Friday morning. Should be down around 7-8 that night. Maybe sooner.

If you get there by 6pm, there's a get together at Hooter's. And then some kind of cruise or something down the Coast.

Car should be in Florida right now with Ryan, I fly in Thursday night,
See you guys Saturday

Stuckeys went 5.91 in semis. Then took out Blacks in finals. 6.01 to a 6.23 I believe.

Can someone post info about the event? Turnout for both competitors and spectators, how well organized, anything special that happened etc.

Pretty good event I would say, especially for being the first one. Taking into account it was a new event at a new-to-diesel-events location I would say both the spectator and the truck turnout was good. There were a surprising amount of spectators there, to me at least. It was run very well from what I saw. Didn't hear any complaints and it went smoothly. Only area that was lacking was track prep. I don't think the track expected the hp that these trucks were putting out so that aspect should be much better next time. This is my home track so I know they are capable of prepping it much better.

Because it was so late in the year. Truck count was down but still fine. Fans LOVED the trucks. There were people at my truck almost all day dropping their jaws. Def a good new place to have an event and it needs to happen again.

Looks like a good event. It is hard to prep a track in this weather.
