did you get the red cab and chassis that was cut through from a old short guy named chuck? that is who we sold it to way back when here in texas. it was a 4wd truck when my friend got it, they swapped all the parts to make his cab and chassis 4x4. im glade to see you fixing it up. i think we took the 215 pump off of it and put on a 160 if my brain is remembering right.

yes I did buy it from chuck he lives down here with his daughter.before I bought it he replace motor for some reason

Very cool. I have not found any info about shortening this way without welding. You should do I write up or how to with more details for others. Keep up the good work!

Do you reuse the same fuel tank? How many holes total do you have to relocate and what size? I also want to do the axle flip.

Also what's the easiest way to remove factory rivets?

best way I have found to remove the rivets is good quality drill bits. step drill the head off and they will punch right out. then drill the holes all to 9/16 and replace with grade 8 bolts. I have done 2 trucks second one in a couple hours fist took all day. cause I torched the rivets. sure made it way harder to get them out after torching.

Truck looks good Shortbedguy, i have already started to cut down a 96 to make a rcsb and was wondering what width and offset those 22's are and also what size tires are you running on them? do you have any issues with clearance?
