New Borg Warner S300sxe Turbos

Thanks buddy, I appreciate the knowledge. Definitely just going for the out of the norm factor once I build them. Obviously won't be racing or anything like that. Just want something unique as the triples aren't as common as twins..... even though I know their not needed.

First things first, stronger connecting rods are next.

So are you selling the 66 then? Interested...

I'll trade you wives and turbos. haha

The new SXE turbos come with a factory upgraded 360* thrust bearing, they will live at much higher pressure ratios than the older 270* thrust bearing S300's.

FYI, the old 366 flows around 76 lbs per minute peak, the new S362 SXE flows roughly the same.... actually a touch more at 77.5 lbs per minute!

The new S363 SXE flows just a touch more at around 78.5 lbs per minute.

The new S364.5 SXE flows about 82.5 lbs per minute.

The new S366 SXE flows about 87.5 lbs per minute.

The new S369 SXE flows just under 100 lbs per minute, somewhere in the 98 to 99 lbs range per the map at a 3.25 pressure ratio.

Do you have any links to these maps? I'm having trouble finding anything good except for a low res version of the 69 map.

Black mega do you have the link to where you found that? It's too small for me to see

What is the most popular turbine flange for these? Is the HX40 flange more popular than the marmon? I may need to machine mine before I can sell them.

hx40 is more popular than the marmon cause it adapts to twins better. The marmons aren't very good as hot pipe flanges.

Thanks for the maps guys. Anything on the smaller wheels? I'm drawin a blank.

Just got my 362sxe. Had the compressor machined for the borg cast elbow. Will these 2 seal properly from just clamping the machined surfaces together? I figured it would have an o-ring seal, similar to a 2nd gen. First pic is compressor,2nd is elbow,3rd is side by side

The BD elbow has an Oring seal to convert 2nd to 3rd gen properly.

I have one. Flange on the sxe is larger and doesn't have the flat sealing surface area that a 2nd gen cover has

2nd gen flange

I could weld the elbow if I have to. Did like the idea of having some install options and adjustment with the clamp
