I am sure your friend Google can answer your question.

No I'll leave that to the experts with the sales catalogs homie!

But I did find a lovely visual of you trying to type your zinger of the day.....

What do you gain from this conversation? So far nothing you have said is more then clutter.

So to redirect as you insist....... how bout the 177248 recommendation by Weston you clearly overlooked?....... and whats your experience with it?

As my ebonically challenged brethren of the world may say..... "I just axzin a question!?!"

Carry on!

That turbo is for a different class at this race. I am only concerned with the 5500lb class with the 76mm charger.

I got lost in this thread someplace.

So.. has this moved from the "what if" stage?

Not hardly. I will be at this race, racing. You have yet to add anything beneficial to this thread.

I am almost tempted to fund your entry fee just to see whatever clapper you show up with. But it'd be a waste of my money as the driver's meeting would never end with all of the dumbazz questions, comments and otherwise that you would have. And the race would never happen as the rest of us would get tired of listening to your BS, pack our shet up and head home.

Come on, give the 6k guys a bit more to work with than a box 2.6!! That'll be like watching paint dry now a days!!

I think 2.6, water only, 1/8th mile, and street tires would be fun for the 6k class.

The standard S467 is technically 2.66" and also in factory form has the hose discharge cover that was decided to be non desirable. The most common sense answer is to use Borg Warner 177248 which also has the same 0.63AR v-band discharge compressor housing as discussed earlier. This would be a 2.8" turbocharger and nitrous should not be allowed, only water injection.

My 5.9 would be plenty happy with a slip fit 2.66, no drugs. It would be a fun street truck after the race.

Unbroken, wanna start a new thread for the heavy street class?

Oh ok great, I'm happy to hear that your going to be at a race that essentially is still hypothetical with lord knows what rules, classes still TBD, and location and time still nothing more than algorithms trickling across the WWW. Guy don't let me live rent free in your brain, that's not the intention! I'm merely pointing out details your feeling inclined to respond to!

So just to recap the rules you'll be racing to will essentially be...

000100101001000010010100101000010001010100100100011
101001010010010001001010001000000100101000001

Disclaimer:
This was not an attempted Russian hacking of this race, nor is any underlying offense to the OP or all of UNBROKEN's hard work!

Moving on!

Looks to be such, Weston made a good point to suggest the 177248 which would still be more enjoyable to watch than a box 466 and meets the needs of most of the field.

And with that, you're done here...So we can actually discuss the race you won't even be competing in.

To everyone else, feel free to continue to voice your opinions about the race without a contradictory reply to every single post for at least the next two weeks.

is anyone here associated with "Diesel Truck Wars"? i've seen a few promos about it on the FaceSpace and seems to be a few organized track events happening in the SE. just thinking from a networking/marketing stand point.

now I just need to figure out if I can have my truck tore down and rebuilt by the time this thing happens. interested to see what is hashed out for the 6000 lb class.

Just caught up on all the post looks like it will be pretty cool with two classes . Maybe we should separate the classes a little more then just 500 # though. Maybe make the street class a little heavier yet so people wont have to chop there trucks up so much to get there, that might attract more guys. I would think most guys that are already at the 6000# weight range would probably work hard to lose another 500 to get the truck down to the 5500. But if your 1000 or 1500 over then its pretty hard to do with out completely cutting the truck up Maybe still keep the entry at 500.00 for both classes but let the big pot go to the class that has to most entries .

and i'm over here trying to figure out how i'm going to get up to 6000#.

i'm hoping the classes are separated by more turbo than the previously suggested s476 and s471 box turbos and instead s476 and a 66mm. am I crazy to suggest that something like an s366(maybe 66sxe/73) for the heavy class could potentially attract a TON of entries? targeting the 700-900hp crowd that could be competitive without building a purpose built drag truck?

i think there will be the same handful of guys to dominate a class like the 3.0. i think we can pretend that we're evening the playing field but a truck built to run pro street, competitively, is going to out 60 and outrun anything else at equal weight and power.

The S366 SX-E may be a good option if it is determined that is the power level desired. Stands to reason that if the rules for these two classes were fitting and popular that maybe they should extend past one event, possibly something an organization might be interested in adding.
