I just use FB to sell chit and find races. IG is just used for BBB and truck stuff. LOL
 
I'm assuming drive pressure is what's causing it to lay over.
13mm pump set at 570cc's, have tried more and it slows down.
5x20 injectors
Full cut delivery valves, have tried 7mm and comp cuts, seemed to run slightly quicker with the full cuts, barely.
35* timing, if I bump it to 37* it slows down.
Belt drive aeromotive lift pump, idles at 55psi, 65psi at the top end, have tried more, didnt make a bit of difference.
Hogan cooler, charge pipe going to the intake feels cool after a run

Open to suggestions if yall think I'm overlooking anything?

I'd try a set of 191 delivery valves. Then maybe an external gate to atmosphere. I wonder if a larger housing on the 485 wouldn't help some as well.

He is running 5x22 injectors, stock injection lines....Tman sent them down to him when he got that set of fire hose nozzles from you.

Nothing wrong with stock size lines, wonder if you'd see a difference using 7mm DVs and the plate slide a little more. You could get roughly the same fuel output but I'd think the 7mm would have a cleaner injection event than full cuts.
 
I am now joining this club... I want a 9 out of my 2003. I ran a 10.34 last weekend on fuel with a spin off the line and fell off the charger in OD... and lifted the head...

Yall think a .056 jet would get me there? Truck weighs 6500lbs.

Ive got an extra AFC live race you could throw on there and try.

I was thinking 7mms and slide the plate to add more fuel if anything. I went from 7mms with the plate all the way back at 11mm making roughly 600CCs to 131s with the plate at 13mm making just over 600CCs and I've gotta say I like the smaller DV better.

I've only ever ran a 100 style plate but it sounds like you've got your AFC doing the work down low so that shouldn't make a difference.

honestly his combo seems air limited. He left a damned thick coal train before he kicked the rack back. Now he kicked the rack back shed some weight and went his qwickest. He either needs air improvements or dare I say it in this fuel only group: he needs nitrous. (Turbo in a bottle)*nx*:woohoo:

Depending on how overfueled you are could be worth 50hp or 150hp. Keep an eye on boost and EGT and see if either number gets rowdy.
