k guys...i know im pretty dumb when it comes to these p-pumps...but i did some measuring to day...and the hole in the holder is .027"...i was thinking of making them .062"...opinions please...any and all would be apreciated...

the deal is..i got this p-pump for 50 bucks...(steal)...and its my play pump...my learning pump...so no big big loss if i do something im not supposed to...thanks

what are you calling the d/v holder? Is it the holder that the injection line fastens onto?

Is the EDM the only way or do they make a bigger dia hole in another application, This is one idea I do like!

Jim

Could you really just use a drill press with a super small bit? If so I might ave to do mine, I have a nice drill press and can get any bit I would ever need. Would the inside finish be smooth enough with just drilling it out?

thats what i was thinking...the drill press idea...but i wouldnt even consider it if it doesnt make that big of a difference...as far as fueling

Smokem...why would the holders be the same as an injector...there is no plunger or any thing....its just a hole....thats it...the only thing i could see being a problem...would be getting them all the EXACT same so flow would match

The snubber valve inside the stock holders is extremely hard and you will have a hard time drilling them out. Or you can just use the the bosch holder with out the snubber valve

I have heard of shops and people having them edm'd, but I have never messed with doing it just got the good ones from Bosch.

X2...no point in drilling or EDM'ing the stock holders when they still have snubber valves...I can't remember the Bosch number for the taller ones that are on the 7100's but I'll try to find it

I had mine EDMed .093
Can't wait to see how this pump flows now since the work has been done

Do Not Drill Them; Have them edm'd to the stock line size but don't drill them, there is a spring in the end just below the hole and if you get into the one side or other to much the spring will be exposed, and start breaking apart and get into your injector and make it stick open.

I had this happen to me but Mine are edm'd, I just had bad luck on one of my holders but the guy made me another at no charge, and fixed my pinto in the injector because it got a burr on it from the pieces of spring that got in there, all at no charge.
