"07" 5.9 Triple Dog tunes

My friend has a 07 5.9 and bought the bullydog triple dog for it. He said that it has version 2.3.9 and that he bought it straight from Bully dog about a month ago. Is it still capable of being upgraded to a better tune. Was looking for the Crazy Larry. Thanks guys for any help.
 
yes there is a 2.4.1 crazzy larry tune that would work for him. let me know if you need it.
 
how bout scarry larry, crazzy larry or pedifile larry? what kind of mods does he have?

I have 2.4.D if you need it. They say 2.4.D, and 2.4.1 are the same but they are not. My truck drives completely different with the 2.4.D tune (more fuel on the bottom end), I can't see how the would be the same. Either tune is pretty bad though.
 
there is a 2.4D and a 2.4.1D they are different tunes the 2.4D had some issues on the 03and 04 when you return to stock they would go down.

Thanks Nute for the 2.4.1D. He loves it. Are you saying the 2.4.D might be a better tune for his "07", but it may cause problems. If I understand right, the Scary Larry and Pedia file Larry only work for the "05" and not the "07." Thanks for the help guys.
 
the problem i seen with the 2.4d was when you adjusted the rev limiter somtimes it had issues returning to stock but not always it seems like it was a case by case issue.
 
I was talkin to a friend about this today matter of fact! he has an 06' and he was wanting a crazy larry or scary larry tune! will someone send em to me please!? Thanks bradrkerr@comcast.net

have you ever run scarry larry on your truck?
 
i have 2.4d on my 07 love it and i love it even more with the mp-8 i have cl pl and sl if you want them send me your email and yes pedifile and scarry only work on 05 autos
 
My buddy has an 06 auto with a PMT, the current software is hv:2.2 sv1.01.6, will any of the tunes work with this software? If so please send them to bradrkerr@comcast.net

pl tune was orginially designed for a 06 year truck only and then was rewrote to include all years of common rail trucks. and scary larry will work on any truck 04.5 and up but works best on the 05 trucks. the 2.4d program has the same fueling file as the sl tune just you can adjust the rev limiter and speed limiter on the 2.4D file.

No the triple dog files will not work on the PMT. for the PMT you will need version 1.0.1.0 if you need it let me know.

hey rpainter, do you think the BD 2.4.d could help me. the smarty is defueling me at higher rpm's,even though my times are desent, you can see it on my dyno sheet it levels off then dies.would the 2.4.d fuel up to higher rpm's.my truck is an 07 5.9.i also have 410's in the rear. would i need springs for that program, like smarty TNT R. thanks

what rpm.s is the smarty defueling at? I have ran my stock motor up to 3950 before I turning it into a slightly modded motor:hehe: I thinbk the 2.4d file starts to fall off at around 3700 but not sure.
 
dammit, unfortunately my dyno sheet didnt have rpm;s on it. if you want , give me your email, and ill send it to you to look at.
