My Parallel Turbo 7.3L

The funny thing is everyone flocked to this thing the two times I have had it out and 95% of the comments made were that it is the meanest looking truck they have seen.:evil

I'm glad I wasn't there to see that. I don't like to have to dodge that many Skoal spitters at one time! It was probably a bunch of 19 year old, 180 hp 12 Cummins driving droolers.

I'm glad that you have a desire to do something different, but seriously why post dozens of videos of your failures? Even the camera guy at the dragstrip hung his head in shame as you failed at the 60' mark.:cheer:

By the way, there definitely are cleaner ways to install a hood stack. It is also possible to set them plumb as well!

My 7 year old just said that truck should be in the stupid pics tread:hehe:
And I did not have to say a word:hehe::hehe::hehe:

So what is your plan for this truck? It obviously can't sledpull or dragrace...

wow, that is the sadest hood stacks that i have EVER seen. didn't ya atleast look at any 3.0 or mod trucks to see how guys mount them ?

So does it run?? Seems like it runs for about 20 seconds, and then you quit.

Chris

Nope it was a bunch of 12 year olds....

So since when does 2 videos equal "Dozens" of videos?? What school did you go too??:poke: I personally like to post the bad with good as there should be nothing to hide.

Do you have any idea why the camera guy stopped filming?? The turbo boots blowed off from boost. Stuff like this happens all the time. Read the latest Diesel Power with the highlights from there power challange and see how many guys kept blowing boots off. Maybe you live in a perfect world where there are never any issues with a completely new custom one of a kind setup?? Sorry but the real world does not work that way.

The exhaust stacks are plumb with the engine which is exactly how I wanted them. The front intake stack is tilted forward for a little ram air effect which is also exactly how I want it. I could have used the flange style hood stacks that bolt to the hood but that is not how I wanted it.

So here again I did it the I wanted to do not what everyone else wanted to do.:Cheer:

I still remember when single hood stacks really started to get popular in pulling and everyone thought they were stupid but now days everyone thinks they are bad azz.

My plan is to post dozens of videos of it attempting to sled pull and dragrace just so you guys can have something else to make fun of....:cheer:

I have made and mounted a few of the bolt on flange stacks and that is not what I wanted to do.

I get tired of the same old things and besides this way you all have more sh*t to pick at.:Cheer:

fail

thought you said you posted the good with the bad? where is the good runs and pulls at?

think this should be in the motivational posters section

Maybe the reason it is the only one of its kind is because the engine dont need a parallel turbo setup and could make more power with a single or compounds......

i think its cool, glad to see someone do something different.

dont worry about these guys, they are just jealous that they cant build something that terrible

So you actually think that a slightly tilted vertical stack is going to give you a ram air effect? Seriously are you in high school or did you drop out? Ram air at 15 mph in a sled pull? I won't even address the dragstrip because you obviously didn't go fast enought to create "a little ram air effect". Don't forget to take out your right headlight and fold your mirrors in. You're going to need every extra hp you can find!

just spit my beer out lol. that was great. thank you for making me feel better after reading this thread:hehe:

Keep those post coming guys.... LOL

You all are making my day.:rockwoot:

The way things are going I will win the bet I made before the day is over....:Cheer:

The problem that your having is you don't have enough exhaust to drive either turbo with 4 cylinders. Congrats on thinking outside the box, but sometimes you have to stay in it a little. Nitrous would help a bunch to get it spooled up. I am assuming this is a competition truck only?

I'll admit I was gonna try to do this once, to a IDI using a pair of Turbos from a 3.9l 4bt Cummins, Comes out a little big for each side but thought it would be cool, But them why deal with 2 if a single works well
