Looking at purchasing a 2015 Ram 3500 but would like to swap the front and rear differentials from 3.73 to 4.10 to obtain maximum tow rating. Any idea what this would cost through a dealership prior to sale?

Found a 2015 3500 DRW that will be used mostly for medium to heavy towing of various size horse trailers but has 3.73 rear gears. I'm concerned that the six speed will be "hunting" between 5th & 6th while towing. Would 4.10's be a better option? Thanks guys, love the site.

1998 3500, club cab, drw, 2 wd, 12v with a bad automatic transmission. Typical bad paint and tired interior with 176,xxx miles. Never modified by original owner. I'm interested in making an offer but don't want to insult the owner since he's not currently motivated to sell it. Thanks guys...

While looking at the DDP website, they recommend not towing heavy with their competition 120 or 200 hp injectors but light towing may be okay. Does anyone know what their definition of light and heavy might be?
