I am having a misfire and white smoke on my 07, between 1500 rpm to 2500 rpm ,but only when moving the fuel pedal(runs okay when i hold the rpms) ,does it only with smarty on lower settings (CATCHER 2 or 4) runs fine at stock and catcher 5 or 7. Any ideas?

replaced rail sensor today truck ran real rough before. was running a isspro rail gauge,think the gauge may have caused it to go? anyone else have this happen? truck has 16k miles and i keep the fuel pressure turned down
