Hi all,
I am at the wiring stage of my project, it is basically what is stopping me from finishing this year long voyage of not having my favorite vehicle. Anyway, my questions all involve mating the Ford and Cummins harnesses. Is it necessary to use the TIPM off of a dodge pickup in order to have a diagnostic port? If so, how is that accomplished. I have been told that it is necessary to integrate fuses and relays. Is that necessary? It seems to me that it is possible to use the fuses and relays that are under the dash. Any insight would be awesome.
