06 grille on 01 truck?

Whats it take to make this happen guys? Ive seen a billion people do it, but we tried it and my grille is WAY to big to fit the other truck. What do you have to do to make it work? Thanks!

Without the whole new front end like the bumper and all is what you are talking about I assume.

You basically cut the bottom off of the grille (CNC is preferred) and make some new mounting brackets. There is a company that sells these modified grilles on ebay for around $350.

I see. So it probably wouldnt be worth modifying mine to make it work then?

I pondered the idea, but for $350 my '99 grille looks good enough to me.

A few guys have cut down a regular grille to fit.....just have to measure and cut accurately for it to look right.
