New to comp d and I have been watching builds and I have gotten far enough to where I'd like to share it with everyone. Last year at the middle to the end of March (2015 when I was 16) I bought a 2001 single cab dodge that was just a rolling cassis with a junk rearend in it. It sat at my parents house until the last week of July of 2015. The last week of July my buddy and I found a 2001 24v 6speed truck that was rolled over in Chicago and tat weekend we picked it up and brought both the trucks to his shop and the next day we took the parts truck apart took about 2 1/2 weeks to get everything swapped over and in the truck. After only getting fuel on cylinder 1 and 4 we figured out that the injection pump was junk so I order a new pump and the truck was running 3 days later. And now the truck has an edge comp box with hot unlock, 7x10 injectors with 12 tips, and this winter I tore the truck down for paint and body work. I also had the head fire ringed, new head gasket and fire rings, a tater built 63/68mm turbo, and a south bend 3850 comp clutch. Still working on the body work yet but hoping to have the truck back on the road by end of May. My goal is to drag race the truck and I want to be around 600hp some day.

Nice to see a vp getting worked, good luck with the 6spd, I love mine fir towing, but have read they hate racing.

Yes I'm hoping it will hold up but the short throw shifter helped a lot. Even tho I haven't had it on the street but just moving it around the shop I like it a lot. It makes the gears more noticeable and it's very short distance between gears
