Haven't really heard anything bad about them but I don't know what kind of aftermarket is available either. Greg Hogue (Comp461) mentioned a few times that he may be getting one to race, maybe he can give some insight? Being rated at just over 300hp and 550 ft lbs, I'm guessing they get along pretty good.

LOL. X2. I wouldn't trade my TDI jetta for anything, I wouldn't be scared to buy the bigger V10 TDI if it's anywhere near as reliable.

The GT18 turbos used are nearly maxed out at stock. If you want more power from it you'll have to upgrade them very quick.

Awesome engine though, too bad it was imported in such low numbers.
